Wind and Rain is fcuking 10 times worse than freezing conditions

Just got fcuking drenched on the way home today, with a strong gale force wind blowing right in my face for most of the way. Wind and rain is much more physically unpleasant than when we had freezing temperatures a few days ago. At least when its -5 or whatever, you can just wrap up warm, go out and your fine. Its even quite pleasant, its feels fresh and wakes you up in the morning when you go out. But this wet and windy weather today is the fcuking pits. It leaves you much colder (even though the temperature is higher than a few days ago), and having an umbrella or hood doesn't do much when the wind and rain is blowing in every which direction. We truely have the worst weather in the world (apart from Africa where they have droughts n sh1t).

Try toughening up slightly. It'll work wonders for you.

yes the rain is miserable, when i was in germany last year some nights it got down as cold as -15C but if you wrap up its not too bad

I got soaked coming home, absolutely drenched, and couldn't care less. I was ABLE to get home easily enough, didn't worry about breaking my neck at any point and....well, tis blissful getting dry and warm again!!


We do NOT have anywhere near the worst weather in the world. Even the past week or so would considered a mild winter in some places. I think we're very lucky with our climate. If we just had a few more hot days in the summer it'd be perfect !

As much as I hate the rain and wet, and would prefer heat over cold, the rain is what makes our country green. Sounds stupid, and ridiculously corny, but go out to America, or many different countries outside of Europe. It's not the same. They're all dry and crappy looking.
I also enjoy being able to use a lot of water.:D Imagine running out of water:eek:

I love our weather. I love storms, ice, snow, wind, sun, rain and anything else you care to mention (with the possible exception of too close lightning strikes) and in this country we get it all.
