So, my hi hats started doing mad stuff the other day, on my studio monitors.

The tweeter on one of speakers is gone. (it was doing the intermittent coming and going thing). Well I at least hope its the speaker and not the amp.

They are a set of Tascam active monitors, a few years old. They're not expensive or amazing or anything, but I would like to get it fixed because I just know them well. I would assume it would be best to get both tweeters replaced, yes, no?

Anyone know somewhere that would do this at a reasonable price? (I don't have experience with doing that kinda thing at all)

thanks for replying Paul, sorry for taking so long to get back.

They are VL-X5. I'm pretty sure they are discontinued.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

They're still on the website so I'm sure spares are available. I've asked them

    Mail me on Paul@Audiowarehouse.ie
