Flights are €180 ish on Aer Lingus to Geneva, excluding booking fee, bags etc... about two hour drive... get onto the tourist office for info on flights and accom...

Plenty of people on here have been there so you should get better help from them...

Crystal Ski fly to Chambery and will give you transfers too but don't know if you are too late to get flights... hour and a half drive

€176.88 with Swiss with one change but including bag and no extra charges.

Get on a transfer bus at GVA. Google it and loads will come up.

As for accom I would get on to the tourist office as mentioned above or check http://www.chaletsdirect.com/

Fly to Paris and get an overnight train to Bourg St Maurice. Trains, including couchettes, cost 95 euro, less if you travel during the day and don't sleep on them.

There is a Youth Hostel in Tignes (look up Tignes FUAJ) I've stayed there a few times, they have an all in price for bed, food and lift passes. I'd suggest flying to Geneva and renting a car (rent the car over the internet and find the cheapest deal and then stick to it, don't let them flog you an upgrade in the airport!). A car is very handy there, Val D'esir is 5 minutes away and the nightlife there is good.

If you want a bit of an adventure, this year my friends and I drove to Tignes, got the ferry to Wales and the eurotunnel, took 20 hours each way and cost less than flights and car rental, also really good craic and saw a lot of the country!

I'll back the recommendation for the Hostel. It used to be a hotel, so much smaller rooms and better bathrooms than most hostels, but good food, lots of craic, and very easy access to skiing.

What part of Tignes is it in ? I need somehting in Tignes Le Lac

The hostel is in Tignes Les Boisses, but there is a bus from almost outside the door right to the Lac. It's actually easier than most of the hotels that are technically in Le Lac. Unless you are doing the Ali Ross course, it should be fine.
