    Here

Remember you can still use XMAS to get another 10% off. Ends up around 40% of CRC prices on the stuff I bought.

How are PBK when it comes to delivery, do customs ever pick them out from the crowd ?

Highly recommend these if you suffer from cold fingers, and don't mind riding in Mittens. They're bloody marvellous ! (And good value too!)

You cannot get caught by customs if you are buying from anywhere in the EU. Thats whats good about the EU, free trade! :D I order just as much stuff from PBK as I do from CRC, great stuff from them.

As Ballyhoura says there are no customs within the EU. I've had one or two orders delayed for a few weeks but in general they are very fast, recently sometimes even faster than CRC. I have ordered a lot of stuff from them over the years.

Dammit it anyway, there goes my resolution of no more impulse buys for a while, 2 pairs of socks on that way for my running and cycling. Don't know if I should be cursing or thanking you Blorg.

Same here. Just bought socks having promised I'd behave for January.

Thanks for the bargain alert blorg - I think

Are they warmer than normal gloves? I have the Sealskinz technical MTB gloves and just ordered the road ones. I do find the MTB gloves can get cold especially starting out- even with the merino liners.

How is riding in them with regard to the shifters? STI I would be thinking. I guess I could duct tape my fingers together but riding the fixie at the moment...

I have the road wans which are brilliant except for the 'nose wiping material' on and below the thumb of each glove. It's just too smooth or something, hard to describe it but I don't like it anyway.

Not sure that would bother me too much, I have a fair bit of practice at the snot-rocket. Main reason I ordered them is I find the MTB palm pattern seems very much designed for flat bars, it works well there but not in the drops or on the hoods.

i ordered the Tacx Spider Team workstand last week with some sunglasses. The workstand arrived today but without the glasses eventhough the delivery receipt said both were together and only 1 package was sent?! And yes i opened the workstand to check. I also ordered a Bianchi jersey and a craft top on Xmas day. They still haven't arrived and i haven't even had a dispatch confirmation:-(

I've contacted them today so hopefully i hear by tomorrow as i want to get the Nalini bib shorts on offer but i wont until this is sorted

They are warmer, I have those as well as the regular glove type. Your fingers are together and they have fewer seams so they keep warmer. But I haven't used them for cycling.

My god, the exact same thing happened to me only a few weeks ago! I ordered a Tacx Spider Team workstand for christmas and when it arrived it was just the box of the stand and nothing else even though the inoice/receipt said they were packed together! I was scrambling looking for a way to contact the courier company as I had accepted the package without checking the contents to see if it was all there and as far as PBK would be concerned everything was delivered and that was my problem. However, I was wrong. I held off and contacted PBK the following morning to say that because of the value of the workstand they sent it out with a courier (probably for insurance reasons) and that the bottles were sent out separately which I received a few days later! Panic over...so trust me! There is nothing to worry about and those glasses will arrive soon enough I'm sure of it. The other order from XMAS day is another matter. They usually don't take that long to process orders so I'd there is an actual reason for the hold up! I had good confidence in PBK fulfilling their promises :D I've never had any problems with them.

+1 I have them and they are amazingly warm. I got XL ones with the intention to wear a second pair of gloves under them, its like sticking your hand in a warm duvet or sleeping bag. When out walking I do not bother with second gloves, when cycling I have thin second gloves really so when I take the mits off I am still warm (to answer a phone, zip up things etc). They kept me warm cycling on the coldest of days, far colder than the recent spell.

I also happen to have the winter sealskinz technical glove, I got them first and they did not prove warm enough on the very coldest of days, I could manage a second thin pair under them but they were a bit too tight. I think the large mitts allow a nice pocket of air inside which insulates you very well.

I've had a few orders go up to a month with them but they have all eventually arrived. The vast majority much quicker, these were outliers.

Yes, much warmer. They're actually a fleece glove built into a Mitten. The Mittens are completely waterproof/windproof, but obviously water can run down your sleeves and get in that way. I used them on the turbo to try gears and brakes and they were not ideal, but pefectly manageable. Only used them "for real" on MTB and Fixie so far. If these didn't do the trick I was going to get the Assos Winter Glove System (3prs in one Set) but they're expensive at EUR120.00 so I'm glad these work for me !

Thanks, I've ordered a pair. That will make three pairs of Sealskinz... Hands were absolutely frozen last night despite the liners although they were dry. Although they do seem waterproof they seem to soak up water in the outer layers which really helps conduct heat away from your hands, even if your hands don't actually get wet themselves (my liners were dry.)
