    hello all,
i backed Man City to keep a clean sheet last night, and at half time wanted to cover myself but the market was closed (its only before kick off, boo)
anyway, I backed 3-1 but my system crashed before I could do 3-2 and 4-1.
this was a ramshackle way to lock in a profit.
    my question is this.
is there a clever way of locking in a profit in such a case or not ?
if not i'll skip this market in future.
i just want to know if i missed out on some bet that could have covered the stake.
thanks - oh yeah - its all on betfair

Well once it got to half time could you not have layed it off at a much shorter pice ?. Thus having a free bet in the end.

    sadly no.
that bet gets "Suspended" at kick off and doesn't get re-opened at any time.
i hoped they would re-open it at half-time but they don't

Oh right then not much you can do really, by backing the scoreline then is pretty dodgy because you'll lose alot more than you win imo. Worth taking a chance and just backing the Clean Sheet if you want but it's a tough market to judge in the EPL.
