Gardaí hanging round Roden Place, some parking space cordoned off

Anybody know whats happening in the centre of town (Dundalk) today? Parking spaces outside museum and also town houses on Roden Place are all cordoned off. Plus a lot of Gardaí hanging around too. Do we have a celebrity in our midst?

It's an army parade. All the troops heading off to Chad on peacekeeping duties are parading for Minister Dermot Ahern and Minister Willie O'Dea. They will march around the centre of town and they're having some sort of blessing of the flags too. See more info here:
