    Hey Omadden2 :)

What you want is a book called ''The Songwriting Secrets of the Beatles''. It'll teach you everything you need to know about theory - to a very advanced musical level - in a practical, non-schooly way. Great stuff.

DON'T get any book aimed at keyboardists. They tend to suck. Also, the RIAM books aren't bad, but they move quite slowly because they're for studid people.
