    Just stumbled across this (RTE now) very funny , very well written - sort of a bad ass up to date Taxi, but coarser and set in a fire station. Check it out

    One of the best shows on tv imo dude. Get the box set...worth figuring out the characters from the start...it's a few seasons in at the mo.

    Lots of people here are fans, there are some pretty big threads around for each season. It has currently finished airing its' 5th "supersized" season (22 episodes instead of the standard 13) in the US and it has been confirmed that season 6 will be the last. It is sheer quality, season 4 falters a bit compared to the earlier ones, but it returns to greatness in season 5 so it's well worth sticking with.

    TV at its best, I never understood why rte never tried to hype it!

    Showing such a prime time show at 11.40pm is madness!

    Prob because it's pretty em, risque. Suppose we should be thankful we get HBO stuff on national telly. The Puritan (fundemental)nutters in America would never let that happen over there.
