Going abroad in Commercial Vehicle???

    Let's say I drive Light Goods Vehicle and I want go on holidays to France.
    How Insurance cover trips like that?
    Is there any trouble with customs officers?

    Your insurance company will be able to answer the first question for you. Re customs, I can't see why there would be a problem?

    1. If you have insurance in Ireland you are covered 3rd party in all EU states, by law... but you should really get a green card and inform your insurer to keep full cover.

    2. You must check your license is correct for that vehicle in every country you intend to drive.

    3. why would you go to France? It's crap.

    ..be prepared to have the vehicle searched at every port too!

    If u drive a van(commercial) u ment to drive only for work needs.
    So, I don't know. If Custom Officer see u in van may ask where u going and why...
