Parrot's AR.Drone is an RC helicopter (okay, technically a four-prop "quadricopter") whose flight you control via your iPhone's Wi-Fi. Not only that, the unit comes with two video cameras and augmented-reality game apps that allow solo play (against a virtual battlebot) or head-to-head shootouts with your friends' AR.Drones.

What do u think about it? will you be getting one? Post your opinions ;)

It looks a bit lame compared to the models I am used to - power and speed-wise I mean.
But I imagine non rc flyers might be interested, maybe rc flyers who specialise in the indoors models too.
Outdoors flying in Ireland ..... most days they would be blown away in seconds by a 10-15kph breeze. But evenings during the windless moments before dusk can suit those continental models here.

    M'eh.

It's a crappy cheap heli designed to appeal to a mass market audience. If you are into remote heli's there are far far better.

Plus you need an iphone, another reason not too.
