Any one looking for a 4 mile race on St Patricks day,
could do worse than visit the tranquil and scenic village of Moyglass
for the Annual 4 mile race starting at 12 noon,
Good course small hill in 2nd mile followed by down hill section, course record is around 18.40 dating back maybe 15 years,
so all of out there with top end gear and better training methods can have a
crack at that time or at least have fun trying,
Those of you who ran the Munster Masters are welcome back to try out the roads this time,
More info at a later stage

    Hi Hawkwing,
It all depends an the effort your making :),
I`m sure you`ll rattle the course record

Never had much time to see the view myself :(
might take it easy this year if i get a chance to run it

but there is a nice view from my house ha,
and it would get you out of the pale
and you get a good cup of tea and and sambo as well for your troubles

    Just a reminder,

This race is still going ahead on ST Paterick's Day at 12 noon

PRIZES FOR FIRST 3 MALE AND FEMALE.

    0/35, 0/40 0/45 0/50 0/55 0/60 MALE
    0/35, 0/40 0/45 0/50 FEMALE
    JUNIOR MALE AND FEMALE

With plenty of tea and food afterwards in nice country surroundings what more could you ask for,

Footnote ; Hey Greenplain, did you know that Moyglass means green plain in Irish
(another bit of useless info to clog up memory bank)
