    Hi all,

I wonder could anyone tell me what is the difference in specs between the 2007 SE and SVE Qashqai models? More specifically do they both have body coloured mirrors and door handles, and do they both have automatic headlamps and rain sensitive wipers (got used to these on my astra and now can't live without - sad I know :().

    Cheers in advance...

SVE has bigger alloys, climate control, cruise anyway. Think it might have a glass roof and auto lights and wipers too. Check the Nissan website. Don't think they've changed much spec wise

Depends on the engine usually, but I think both the 1.6 petrol and 1.5 diesel have belts.

Diesel one is every 5 years or 120,000km, can't remember what the story is with the petrol.

Thanks, the engine is 1.6 but garage said its a chain  I'm sure someone told me it was a belt too so just trying to clarify. Looked it up on google under spec but no data there

    1.6 petrol..... don't do it.

I was at my neighbours today... he is a mechanic. He was showing me one he is working on (2007 1.6 petrol).. holy crap, never ending list of issues.

Now this could be a bad one of course.. but they are pure Renault.

Dont touch a qash qai. They are pure rubbish.

The 1.6 petrol engine in the Qashqai is a Nissan unit though, so there should be absolutely no reliability issues with it. When it comes to Renaults it's the electrics that give all the trouble with them, the engines are generally ok, well the petrols anyway.

And people are right to point out that the Qashqai is based on a Renault!

Hi, I am planning to buy Nissan Qashqai+2 2012 SVE petrol version Does any one have the specification document or information related to Nissan Qashqai+2 2012 SVE petrol version.I searched every where and could not find one which shows me list of specifications for that model in the year 2012.

Also if it has timing chain/belt and replacement time, how much is the mpg and other details if any, please provide me any information you got on this model, thanks.
