    Hey,

What would your opinions be on this laptop: http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=573658

Need a new one, mainly for internet and watching movies but also want something that can handle Photoshop CS4 and web dev stuff. Won't really use it for the latest games, have a powerful desktop for that stuff. My budget is 400-500

    Cheers

Laptops are in my opinion , big , ugly, heavy dinosaurs that will hardly be around in a few years ...how about a nice netbook?OK so you will probably need one of the new Ion based ones (Ive a Samsung N510with it 467 euro) to have any chance of running CS4 ...I dont know much about it but even an Atom based one will run GIMP.

Looking at it under the headings of portability and battery life (surely two main ones for a laptop) its a complete no brainer.

Well I'll probably use it at work as well so I think the screen on a netbook might be a bit small for me.
