Ok, said I'd start one of these, have been thinking about it for a while and have been in good betting form this week.... I don't have any fixed amount that I hope to make or anything, just hoping to win..

    11/1/10
    Man City v Blackburn 3-2 @ 22/1--3 euro
Baltimore Ravens to win Superbowl @16/1--5 euro

I think that Man City have the front men to win, but their defence is in tatters at the moment, they are missing too many regulars. I don't fancy Sylvinho at all, and I think that Big Sam's men can put one or two past Given

Ravens, I had money on them last year and they came within inches of making the Superbowl. It goes to show the unpredictable nature of it that Pittsburg didn't as much as make the Play-offs. I am a fan of their defense and I think that they have shown their quality making it to this stage already. Flacco is a steady hand at QB and they have lost their games this season by minimal margins.

I was thinking of doing baltimore myself.

pp's are best price at 16/1 and they are offering 1/2 odds eachway 1st or 2nd .other bookies have them as low as 10/1 with 1/3 odds each way.

    goodluck with the blog

they are up against the highly tipped Colts at the weekend, but on the previous occasion the Colts only just edged it by 2 points, and the Colts may be a bit ring rusty this weekend also

Just on a side note, why is Benjani starting for City?

Wow Blackburn are absolutely pathetic.... this seems like it will be over shortly in terms of my bets possibility

Came surprisingly close, but it wasn't to be.... Tevez has proved to be quite the player all over again

Newcastle one up after 25, Liverpool and reading yet to register

Half Time: Newcastle 2-0, which is ideal but they can't get another, Liverpool 1-0 ( which makes me think that there will be second half goals )

I strongly tip Stoke to beat Liverpool at the Britannia, at 3/1 they are an absolute steal.

I thought Stoke were a great bet at 4/1 but missed the boat. Where did you see 3/1? 11/4 was best that I could see which is not as appealing but could be tempted by 3/1

Looks like I missed the boat too, I saw it earlier but it's gone now, but even at 11/4 its a definite banker

Reckon a draw is probably more likely but 4/1 was too big IMO. Not really interested at 11/4 but good luck with it. Honestly believe a Liverpool win would be a bigger shock than a home win.

Off topic...Rafa's job is as safe as houses. A Liverpool player's house on match day :D

Just to give people an update on my in play bets =

    Hawaiian Open======

    M.Leishman (-2)
    R.Goosen (-4)

The leader is at (-8), and it is the halfway point. Hopefully we shall see some cash from that, which will be invested in Fulham E.W in the FA Cup and Maria Sharapova to win the Aussie Open...

The Ravens meanwhile, travel to Indianapolis is the Semi Final of the AFC championship, or in other words, the Quarter Final of the Superbowl. The Colts are the favourites to win outright but I have faith in the Ravens and believe that they will upset the odds tomorrow night
