Quick car tax renewal question...

I've always renewed my car tax online, as it takes about 45mins to do so in the tax office they're that slow.

But my tax ran out end of November, and I can't find my renewal form, which of course holds the pin number on it for online renewals (I thought it ran out end of December but was wrong).

Is there anything I can do to retrieve it, or do I have to renew in the tax office?

Deffo have to go to the office...you could get a form from the garda station, fill it out, enclose your insurance cert, cheque (no cheque book ?) , then go and post it...can you see where i'm goin with this...;)

i posted off my dads details on a Friday and he had the tax disc by the following Thursday. thats was from the Ballymun Motor Tax Office, may be different in other places.

i guess if you havent got the time to get there, then post is your only option.
Although is it true that the pin is the last 6 digits of your VIN number?

Cool, thanks guys. Looks like I'll just have to bite the bullet and go up and queue in the office.

    Thanks again:)

Just a thought..you could ring the tax office and tell them you never got the renewal form...they might send another one out..
