Internet on iphone with Meteor

    Anyone know what to do? I done a few of things from the how to section here. And its still not working. Do I have to ring customer care or anything? If so, what do I ask them to do.

    You need to go through the following

    SETTINGS
    GENERAL
    NETWORK
    CELLULAR DATA NETWORK

    Then complete the following fields with the Meteor data settings, below are the vodafone settings

    APN isp.vodafone.ie
    USERNAME vodafone
    PASSWORD vodafone

    You should be able to get this information from their website, or failing that give them a call. Make sure that you have a data add-on with your tariff or they will screw you with charges

    Too become part of one of there internet packages on Bill pay, you have to migrate to one of there new, bill packages. Thus entering into a new 12 Month contract @ 55€ P/M, with 1GB P/M what a Rip off.

    In fairness to the guy on the phone, he was very helpfull.

    Dunno what to do, mate works for Vodafone so might join them.

    OP, are you on bill or credit? It should work fine with settings:

    APN: data.mymeteor.ie
    username: my
    password: wap

    Turn off the phone and back on and should be ok.

    I'm on Meteor Bill Pay, And had a HTC Hero using data.mymeteor.ie i've tried ALL settings for iphone but no joy?

    I am on meteor billpay.

    My tariff is €10 a month, and my data plan is €5 for 250mb a month, more then what i need to search things like boards on the go.

    That deal finished?

    I'm on Meteor PAYG, and you get a 50mb a day download limit for €1. It's charged by the kb up to a maximum of €1 for the full 50mb.

    Suits me down to the ground, as I don't use my iPhone for downloading stuff really.

    Meteor have an offer of a cap of 79cent on internet for Feb for people on Anytime Choice (login and check what plan you're on by going to change plan on the left) Link
