Can someone give me a heads up on any pitfalls when buying a new TV i.e. LCD or Plasma and what the difference is. The minimum pixel ratio? I'm going to be using it for TV and gaming. I have Sky Player hooked up to the TV through xbox, Ive heard some HD TV's can cause a lag when using the xbox? I also have a nintendo Wii…

I'm going to be using it for TV and gaming. I have Sky Player hooked up to the TV through xbox, Ive heard some HD TV's can cause a lag when using the xbox? I also have a nintendo Wii so the number of scart connections is important. For size I'm looking a 32".

Thread moved here as a general query. If you have a look around here you'll find that the LCD/Plasma issue has been well discussed in the past and there's lots of general advice on choosing a TV.
