Man bets £4400 on Angola to win with 15 minutes to go

    http://forum.fm-view.com/topic/10912-i-admit-it/

Basically they were 3-0 up at the time. They then went 4-0 up. In the last 12 mins Mali scored 4 times!!!!!

If he had won the bet, he would have won £44. The replies are worth a read.

Boards is a big place so I didn't see that one.
Mods, please remove this thread if it's up already in Gambling.

It's also in the soccer forum.

And why do people have to use the word fail? It's so fcuking juvenile.

Just say things like, "Oh that was rather foolish of him".

Funnily enough I bet on Mali to draw at about the same time.

No work for me this year! :D

Technically it was a good bet because the likelihood of that freak result happening was much less than the odds offered. Just sucks to be him for losing on such a 'sure thing'.

Yeah but the gain far outweighs the loss. Why risk that much money just to win 44 quid?

    Liked this one better:

    BREAKING NEWS.

Mali bus gunned down my midget gunman.

Although technically it should have been the Angolan bus.
Either way he is a retard for gambling 4440 to win 44.

It was a bloody miracle what happened. I've only ever seen it done once before in football.

So bad... I felt bad for losing this bet:

    (all bold teams to win)

    Hull vs. Liverpool (Liverpool won)
Stoke vs. Manchester United (Man U won)
    Arsenal vs. Fulham (Arsenal won)
Wigan vs. Chelsea (Chelsea lost... to F*CKING WIGAN!!! AAAAAAAARGGGHH:mad:)

Got odds of 6/1 (approx.) for that bet. Had €100 on it. I mean, that was as near to a sure thing as you'll get...

But to bet on something like that! To wager €4,400 with a potential return of only €44... What a tool. I have no sympathy for somebody who bets ''stupidly''. Deserved to lose that money. It was a sickeningly bad bit of bad luck, granted, but to wager so much for such a small potential return... 1/100. I would not be bothered putting money NEAR that.

I have yet to see a bookie on a bicycle...

Woah, imagine if he put that money on Mali with 15 minutes to go.

And in fairness to that bet I would of had the pool as the weak link in it !!

I picked 18 teams on paddypower.com in the FA cup qualifiers 17 won and kettering drew with redditch and missed out on 700 for a 3 euro stake...i cried a little:(

That was prolly part of the cunning alibi of the Arsenal fan who tried and failed to take out Adebayor
