    Hi Folks,

I tried to connect my keyboard to my Zoom H-4 yesterday, but it was crackling a bit. I was afraid it might be the socket on the H4, but it seems to be the cable (standard jack 6.35). So I'm going to replace it, but the thing is I can pick up radio interference with that 5m cable. Any idea if that's due to the length of it, and will it happen again if I get another long cable? Or do you reckon my cable is just bolliksified?

(I'll keep the current cable to see if it'll also give me free internet access or TV or something:D)

    Thanks!

Just to do with the shielding me thinks, just buy another one. Planet Waves, Cable Guy (do some nice ones with hotlines on the end), Boston, GYC or Adam Hall. Should all do the job, if you want to spend some money on it you can get a Monster cable or one of the Elixir Cables.

Thanks mate. If the Elixir cables are anywhere near as good as the strings, I think I'll go for those.

    Cheers.

They are pretty good, take a look for them online and see what you recon.
