Can anyone recommend me a swim shop in Dublin. I need to get a proper pair of swim shorts for Triathlon training instead of the baggy shorts I have been wearing. Not sure exactly what I need so would need the help of an expert!

Get in touch with a Triathlon club, they will give you contacts for sure.

Google Irish Triathlon and see slist of clubs.

Also, i find that any pool that has a club based there will also have a swim wear shop.

You don't really need expert advice.

I get my swim shorts in Elvery's: http://www.buy4now.ie/elverys/aspx/productdetail.aspx?pid=1962&loc=P&catid=43.2.
They have a number of stores in dublin. I usually go to the one in Fonthill.

For racing, you could go somewhere like Cycle SuperStore and get some Tri Shorts.

Dont underestimate the old baggies for training purposes, they might not look that cool but the increased drag off them over a decent distance is a good training tool in itself, do the odd swim in race gear, just the way i do it and might not work for everyone.

Great outdoors have a swim shop which is just around the corner from their main shop. Main shop located beside sheehans pub just off grafton st and swim shop is first leftturn from there (if main shop is on your right)
