According to this newspaper report Jackson's death certificate has been amended to 'homicide' after months of speculation. He died from ‘acute Propofol intoxication’ due to an ‘intravenous injection from another’

Homicides does not necessarily mean murder and doesn't always involve a crime. I'd await to hear more before I'd make any judgements. Manslaughter and malpractice are more likely.

I wonder. His family thought so anyway...

    +1 Correct
Homicide (Latin homicidium, homo human being + caedere to cut, kill) refers to the act of a human killing a human being.[1] A common form of homicide, for example, would be murder. It can also describe a person who has committed such an act, though this use is rare in modern English. Homicide is not always an illegal act, so although "homicide" is often used as a synonym for "murder," this is not formally correct.

the family will continue to profit from the death of Michael JAckson by making his death out to be the actions of others, absolving Jackson of blame. The money will keep coming in and we'll never hear the end of it.

Did MJ not get into medical trouble at Neverland? I thought he did, but the article says it happened at his "rented mansion".

    Surely he owned Neverland?

Edit, just looked it up. Moved out in 2005.

Nah, he was flat broke and probably had to sell it.

Any doctor who gives someone a General Anesthetic as a sleeping aid, deserves a manslaughter charge at least.

Because General Anesthesia has risks and should only be used in cases where there are no other options. A lot of cases where a patient dies having plastic surgery is due to anesthesia.

Doctors refuse GAs all the time in hospitals for minor procedures. I was refused one when having a biopsy. To use them almost as a sleeping Pill is medical malpractice.
