    Hi all,

I flew in to Bangkok December 1st, I got a single entry visa. Left and travelled the rest of South East Asia after two weeks. 42 days on no, I fly to Bangkok tonight, and leave for Oz tomorrow morning. Do I need to take action with regards my visa, or do I just show the flight ticket to immigration? As far as I know you can re enter for 15 days if you have a visa and a flight booked outbound from Thailand? Thanks for the help.

If you left Thailand and are now re-entering you will be issued with a new visa.

If you are simply getting a connecting flight and not leaving the airport this wont even come in to it.

Thanks Gaz. Hopefully I won't get charged for a reissue, not sure! Want to get a hostel for the night and get a good nights kip.

Nope, they aren't free... its just that if you are only staying in the country for less that a certain amount of time (not sure, 25 days or so) you don't actually need 1.

You may be thinking of that small white card that you have to fill up and give to immigration upon arrival(you are given this on the plane to fill in, or if not, you get 1 in the airport)..that isn't a visa, just an arrival/departure card.

Still are. 30 days. The visa is stamped on your passport with the entry date and expiry date. You should also have a second stamp with the date you exited the country.

If you stay in Thailand over 30 days you have to pay a fine of 500 Batt per additional day when leaving the country. You pay just after going through passport control. 500 Batt = €10.
