    ok guys, have been in a long term relationship til recently. am off work this week (teacher) and thought id give the whole internet dating thing a shot.

    am goin on my first date 2moro...any advice??

    Public place,
    have a way out if they are a weirdo,
    don't give any great expectations (esp. of sex on first meeting),
    have fun,
    take a breath,
    and remember the vast vast majority of people on the internet are very normal. :)

    so you done all that in few days, got out of long term relationship,met guy online,,now meeting him tomorrow,

    no me and ex broke up bout 6 weeks ago.

    am not really lookin 4 a boyfrend agen r anythin. just tryin 2 hav a bit of a laugh...get a bit of male attention. (defo not sex tho - not remotely there yet)

    yeah we agreed to meet in public place 2moro an go 4 coffee. dunno wat 2 say wen i meet him etc. tho...am so new at this...me and ex were together since i was 17

    have you seen pictures of each other? i'd say that pretty important before anyone meets anyone else online, might sound shallow,which i,m not, i,m just thinking there has to be an attraction, which can be 101 different things for people, i dont mean they need to be attractive, beauty in eye of beholder n all that lol

    yeah we exchanged photos...he's pretty cute :)

    he is 2 years younger than me tho. im 23, hes 21....last boyf was 27....but just thought why not? he was very funny in messagin me...made me laugh.

    Made the big plunge into the internet dating world a few months ago myself. I think you know if its going well enough with someone when you chat to them online so theres probably a great chance it'll be easy to get on when you meet. I met the guy i'm seeing online and when we first met up, i got my mate to ring me after an hour in case he was strange at all! I also had a plan for an excuse. Just stay somewhere public and be confident and you should be fine.
