    It's worth 1500 euro's in the scrappage scheme !

You can't start a thread like this and not tell us what happened!

And it'd have to be at least 10 years old to qualify for the scrappage scheme wouldn't it?

that windscreen would definitely fail an NCT

Yikes, looks like it was rolled pretty badly. I'd imagine cat A/B write off. The offside doors, the boot, glass, and some of the interior could be stripped out for spares. I'd be surprised if any of the engine, transmission or suspension was salvageable though.

Top Gear might want it as a stunt double for their Liana.

The headlight alignment might cause problems also, specially considering the newer stricter tolerances:p

I would imagine that there are parts in the car which can be salvaged though and sold as spares. Worth advertising in the likes of buy and sell, adverts.ie or gumtree surely or even perhaps worth approaching a breakers yard. Just don't hold out too much hope either though I would suggest as them cars don't seem to be too common on the road at all.

Bloody hell, bordering on the miraculous to walk away from that intact without a seatbelt.

Safe to say, the airbags will not be salvagable. They've done a sterling job, and have earned their retirement :p

All that needs is a good detail, get rid of the swirly marks and a high gloss resin wax. ;)
