Working out the layout of the room

    Hi guys and gal

    Im looking to convert my computer room in to a computer/office/ enterment room

    The TV is going to be a 32" connected up to a pc

    the size of the room is the following

    Below is what ive come up with all ready

    on the wall with one item is the TV and the other side is the sofa(big box)
    any one got any ideas ?

    Layout looks good, I'd just lower the TV. Looks very close to have it at that angle. I.e. neckstrain.

    If you are wall mounting it then that shouldn't be a problem.

    You putting speakers in there too?

    mm yea or using the built in specker of the tv, i want a desk includede also but i dont think ill have the rooom

    I'd put the sofa against the wall that you have the tv hanging on.
    Put the TV over the heater.
    Put a corner workstation on the window wall to the right of the new location for the TV.
    Put the shelves on wall C facing the sofa, this would make a handy place to store DVDs, remote controls or cups of whatever.

    Main advantages of this layout is,

    1) You could connect the PC directly to the TV without running wires everywhere.
    2) The sofa would not block the heat coming from the heater.
    3) Having the sofa against that wall would give you some degree of privacy if someone opened the door whilst you were entertaining.

    Ok the TV is up and hold strong - i was lucky the wooden Joist was very close to where i want it so it only had to be moved a small be to the right :)
    One less job

    Im getting a guy in to wire up the power one behind the TV and 2 Twins scokets in the press that im going to be converting

    any opinions so far on how it looks ?

    The cabling is just about done - painting the room tonight- and i have
    Speakers and and blu Ray drive on the way


    its slowly comiing together
