dual guitars , in mono -GONE

    well nearly gone -
    two seperate performances panned hard left right , same amp
    different cabs - summed to mono

    vanishes, particulary in the low end

    maybe i should use a differnt amp for one side ?

    try flipping phase on one

    Cabs could be different polarity. Might be worth checking your cables too.

    I remember Neil Finn of Crowded used run an AC30 and a Fender Twin (I think) simultaneously live.

    I was very surprised when I heard their output was out of phase.
    I mentioned it and got a ' Wat you talkin about Willis ?' look .....


    Some lads can't be told, bit like here really ...

    Would a check in headphones rule out the monitors?

    Headphones can be a bit strange when checking phase but I guess could be done ok.
