Hi, I have a tree in my front garden that I believe is a palm tree. Can someone tell me what type of palm trees grown in Ireland ? As I would like to identify it. Thanks

The term palm tree has been (wrongly)applied to many trees, including Leylandii and Cordyline's and amongst others.
Post a pic and you will have a better chance of ID'ng the tree.
There are quite a few true palms that grow here without too much difficulty.
