Powercity Sale - Netbooks

As you may know Powercity have a sale on at the moment and have a few netbooks included. I had been looking to get a Samsung N140 recently but seeing as the slightly less well specced N130 seems good value at €250 I was going to go for that.

I just wanted to ask does it represent the best value at the moment for a netbook (really getting it for portability reasons) in a bricks and mortar shop or would any of the other ones on sale at Powercity be a better buy?

Hard to justify going 380 for the NC140 when the NC130 is only 250 euro.Differences 250Gb hard drives Vs 160 ...practically irrelevant in my opinion .If youre filling up the hdd on a netbook you need a PC!XP Vs Windows 7 ...ok so 7 is lovely and works great but its no FASTER than XP....NOT worth paying 130 more for ...Wireless card any faster in the 140...if its" N "speed /spec and the 130 is "G " that would make a bit of a difference but again not 130 euros worth ...physical appearance?Well is the 140 a bit shinier? The both have the horrible slider on/off switch and the one I saw in powercity had much cheaper looking plastic to the old NC10s...If you could pick up an NC10 for 160-190 Id consider than .Otherwise Id say NC130...

I've just ordered one of these online from Power city. Has anyone ever bought a laptop/netbook from them before? What is their one year guarantee like?

    I've an N130 aswell - I really like it.

Antodeco - what tweaks to the settings are you doing? I'd be interested in improving the battery life.
