New Macbook wireless problem

If any of you fine folk can help with this I would be very grateful.

We bought a new macbook for my OH to use to replace her crappy Acer laptop.

I am having problems trying to hook it up to my wireless modem at home, it just cannot "find" my home network and when I try to set it up manually it continuously tells me that the password is incorrect.

I know there isn't a problem with the new mackbook because it's been working fine on loads of different wireless networks over the last 2 weeks (we've been travelling around).

My MBP and the Acer laptop connect upto our home network no problems but I just can't get the new mackbook set up.

    Any ideas?

I've checked the password etc and that is all fine.

    .

well the only thing I can think of right now is to delete the network from the remembered list in the Network settings.

Also worth removing the network password from the keychain. In essence....start from scratch.
