I'm a medical card holder and was wondering if I can get dental treatment on it. I have a tooth thats killing me but can't afford a general check-up let alone pay for getting work done.

Full medical card yes, doctor only card no. Search the HSE website for all the details.

Contact your local health board and get a list of dentists in your area who provide med card treatments and then just ring and make an appointment.
