Hi I am pondering on making a journey from Dublin (templeogue) to galway city in the next 2 hours, I am worried about getting ONTO and OFF the M50 mostly.

Has anyone travelled this route today? or part of this route and is there anything/dangers I should be aware of?

I am driving a Front Wheel Drive golf if that makes any difference?

    Thanks so much in advance.

I just dropped my girlfriend home to Clondalkin from Kiltipper, main roads are fine (N81,N7) also heard o the radio that all main routes are fine. If I was you I'd set off asap because it looks like it's going to get bad
