Wonder what you lads think of the above.

    Looking to replace a 2001 dell dimension.its a pentiun 4 running xp -40 gb hdd,256 ram.

Tried to get one of the aldi medion ones but missed out.the dell is similarly priced.

Obviously the dell one above is not a quad core and the hdd on the medion one is bigger

So for internet browsing, manageing photos and videos plus some word documents, just basic family use.

useing avg anti virus so that anti virus not an issue.

Would the dell be good enough for our needs?

    Thanks in advance

Yes I believe the above PC would be suitable to your needs. You can always buy an external hard drive when the prices are dirt cheap if you need to. But just for family use you prob wont need to.

This PC would not have a very good graphics card but as you wont be playing PC games on it then that wont be an issue either. I would say its more than enough for your needs.

Lads....link here for the outlet which seems to have a few good ones in it, the secret is the outlet is closed till tomorrow but this link works fine.

I had this bookmarked which works fine it seems they have blocked it from the front screen

Don't forget to add VAT on to those prices.
