Can somebody reccommend me a good one for around €100, or less. I have a 2nd gen iPod Touch, and the only means I have of listening to it is by earphones, and I just want a proper speaker to play it off. I don't really mind what kind of features it has.
I've been reccommended this one, so I'll go for that unless someone can suggest another one which is better, or cheaper.

    Cheers.

I have this one and find it very good, also has built in radio which is handy.

I got it in Powercity for €55 just before Christmas.

Thanks for that, but I'm looking for one that's more focused on playing music, ie it has good quality speakers.

I added the llink into the OP, and I think I'll just go with that one. It looks like the best one I've seen.

Hi JayP, like you I'm on the lookout for a docking station for my recently acquired ipod nano. And like you my priority would be a decent speaker for music playing. Did you buy that one that was recommended to you. If so, how did you find??

This may sound like a no-brainer question, but is there any difference between a docking station and a speaker(s) for an ipod, and secondly, are there any that don't need to plugged into the mains, but can be charged?

My brother told me about it because his friend has the same one. I haven't decided on what to buy yet..

Well, I'm pretty sure a docking station has a slot for the iPod to sit into, then you can play the music directly through the speakers. It usually charges the iPod. Sometimes there are features like a radio, a clock and an alarm clock. Some also have remotes, and some double as speakers for a device other than an iPod, like a computer.
Speakers are just speakers, plain and simple!

I don't know about the second part of your question.
