Useful classics in the snow?

Have any of you guys actually used a classic or vintage vehicle to get you about in the snow (or to move it!)?

e.g. a jeep to get about, or a tractor or digger to plough the snow?

I spotted a Jeep C7 (early type of Jeep Wrangler) driving through the snow in Naas yesterday! (White with black canvas roof).
I'm sure it must have been a godsend for it's owners if they live out in the countryside..on untreated roads.

The parents are out in my Mini non-stop. The other car is RWD so it's much easier to drive and the fact that if it crashes it's a hell of a lot cheaper to repair means that the other car hasn't been moved in the snow.

Also, it's smaller, so less chance of someone crashing into you.:p

I used the 900 over Christmas. She didnt like the ice but was just made for snow and being an older Saab it has the worlds greatest heater. :D
