Two forms of ID

    I only have a passport. I had a card when i was 18 to show i was able to go to pubs, but have forgotten where to get it. And how long is take to process?

    Any help appreciated

    Thats it. Would that be of use as a second proof of id for a bank in a mortgage application?

    Age card applications take a couple of weeks to get done, if this is a second card be sure to tell the Garda processing the application.

    I suppose it would be up to the institution if they accept a Garda age card as a valid ID.

    The age card would presumably suffice. It is, after all, on a par with one's passport in terms of domestic identification.

    Is it not one form of photo ID and one with proof of address? Surely, if this is for a mortgage application (as was implied), the OP must be in possession of bank statements, which would be a necessity to obtain a mortgage?

    yes jim above is correct. you have a passport which is ok. However the other from is like a utility bill in your name and address dated in the last three months, like esb,phone or bank statment. I am in the middle of changing mortgages at the moment and even with my own bank i had to supply the above.

    Thats right a utility bill or bank statment dated in the last three months along with your passport
