If you look really closely on screen, you will see an add on the top left corner

Never noticed it before. The mostly blueish background blends the ad in very well so it aint intrusive. We should take a quick ask of people to see if they noticed it or not in the past. Its obviously boards only income, right?

As an aside in terms of noticing things, a friend recently showed me where the option to change the forum skin was. I've seen and used it on other forums, but for some reason, I never noticed it here on boards till I was told about it.

Thats cute... tis actually on the top right I meant to say.

The brain just see what it want to see on screen, and thats the text that is relevant to using boards. I've only become conscious that an ad is there, and now look at it more frequently. However, it will easily disappear into the background soon.

Humanities maybe yes. At least they'd teach people's kids something worth teaching. What would we teach them?.... Or more precisely what would Brummytom teach them.

I don't use adblock, I prefer to support the site. The ads aren't intrusive and the odd time I've seen some stuff that interests me.

I seriously haven't seen an add on Boards.ie for years whilst logged in.

I only see them in between posts when not logged in.
