Galvin Green, might be more money than what you have in mind, buy jacket first a maybe pants later on, well worth it,

Can't beat Sunderland IMO at that price range. McGuirks would probably have a good selection - they had a sale on last week with 50% off clothing, don't know if raingear was included, probably not :)!!

If you're 100% sure of your size, there's a UK website called thegolfshoponline.co.uk that might have some bargains, well worth a look, I've bought stuff off them 4 or 5 times in the last year or so (not raingear though) and I've never had a problem with them, even got a custom Titleist driver from them a few weeks ago without a hitch. Shipping is usually £10 so you'll need to factor that in.

Whatever you do OP make sure the raingear you buy is gore tex. Callaway and Nike do lines of raingear with gore tex and are relatively inexpensive.
While galvin Green is quailty gear, imo it is overpriced for what it is and they also have huge logo's which are ghey.

Good site here, I have bought from them: Two options below. Golden rule in rain gear is in my opinion " buy shi*te, you'll buy twice"

+1 on the overpricing of Galvin Green gear. It is indeed good stuff but for what it is, c€500-€600 for a set of raingear is just too much.

As the other posters have said, good quality Sunderland, Callaway, Nike or even Proquip would do as good a job for less than half the price of Galvin Green IMHO. Most suits come with a year or two waterproof warranty now anyway and if its cared for your gear will last a lot longer than that.

Actually, just remembered Mizuno do some good gear that is quite reasonable.See here:

Postage is free and if you order before 3 (i think), you’ll have them the next day

The bag I got for €110 from GolfStoreEurope is marked at €275 in McGuirks!

Anyway, back on topic, I find it so annoying trying to get wet gear to fit. Tried on that Mizuno jacket, and I have the old version, but the L fits my body perfectly, but has sleeves that are too short. The XL sleeves are okay, but too baggy in the body :(

I got a full Mizuno rain suit before Christmas in Dan Wallace's in Galway for €180. Went in looking for Sunderland as that was my old suit which is over 10 years old now and still working well considering the abuse it's gotten.
Anyway he didn't stock Sunderland but was praising the new Mizuno. Have only worn the Mizuno suit twice so far and both times in horrid wet conditions. Fantastic suit and way easier to play in that the Sunderland which got very heavy in heavy rain.

Bought Galvin Green Agrus Jacket and Alf trousers plus 2 dozen Srixon balls for €378 in McGuirks at lunch. The wetsuit probably won't stay in the bag too long on Sat morning...

Got a my Galvin Green suit for €375. Bought the jacket (Atwell style) from www.onlinegolf.co.uk for €200 including postage, and the trousers (Alf style) from my local golf store for €175.
Shop around and you'll find a deal.

Got my Atwell Jacket in McGuirks before Xmas for €160 (25% sale at the time) and the Alf style trousers are available from www.golfstoreeurope.com for €170...that's €330 in total...not bad for an excellent rain suit....
