Saab 9-3 Sensor Issue?

Tried to move my car earlier (2005 Saab 9-3) and after a bit of sliding I gave up and decided to take another car. Now the problem is that the Saab has lights on now for ABS and Traction Control which indicate a fault.

The car has not been moved and I was not skidding for more than 2-3 seconds when the warnings popped on. I'm wondering/hoping that it may just be an issue with ice on the sensors etc. and not a big issue which is gonna cost me a fortune. Left the car for an hour or so and went back to it and the warning lights are still showing.

I'm wondering if anyone has any idea if the car will right itself when it thaws or is it gonna need a trip to the garage?

    Thanks

The problem your having is very common at the moment.
Two lads with BMW have bein here with the same fault.
Think they disconnected the battery(save your radio code
if you have one).Took it for a spin and faults were gone.
If your are's still present, diagnostic check and fault code clearence
in order. I'd doubt very much if you've caused any harm to your car.

Agreed with above, provided there arent any problems with your ABS sensors, the system ECU or the modulator motor, a simple diagnostic plug in to erase fault codes or removing the ABS fuse for 20 secs should turn off the traction control message.
