This is just something little I did in school. Not sure where to go with it. It's is in a way split into two pieces with the same character but different scenario. Any Feedback and/or advice would be helpful.

Jens Howell discarded his bike at the top of the lane well at the same time keeping his hazelnut eyes on the enemy. He was only 5 ft 6 but was well built and knew he packed a good punch, he knew older guys saw the long brown hair and small stature and thought he was an easy ride. He stood and soaked up the taunts and cheers of the crowd, he reckoned this would be his biggest fight since moving to Castletown, maybe even the biggest of his life. The crowd was made up of almost all students in Castletown CBS’ senior cycle. He spotted a few mates amongst the crowd. At least he had a few lads to jump in if it got heavy he thought to himself well keeping his eyes the crowd, he knew if he seemed calm and collected he could get inside the head of his opponent 5th year Max Lewis. He knew Max was tough, Jens mother called him the town degenerate, “ You’d never see boys like that in Dortmund!” she’d say every night at dinner as she heard the latest Max horror story down the phone from our elderly neighbour Ms. Wick. Jens dared not think what his mother would say or do if she found out about what he was about to do, in fact it got him so wound up that he had a split second decision, fight now or forever hold his peace. He shrugged his shoulders as if to say who gives a damn and ran full throttle inside the circle and straight at Max Lewis.

Jens sat slumped on the chair outside Mr. Bowe’s office, thinking over events what he should have and shouldn’t have done, he still believed he was right for fighting Max, defending his fathers honour is how he saw it, he severely doubted his mother or principal would agree. After all he had decimated Max, the adrenaline took over and before he could treasure a moment he was looking down at a bleeding motionless heap and praying to god he hadn’t just killed someone in front of one hundred and fifty people. It seemed God answered his prayers as Max wasn’t dead but he was out cold and as far as Mr. Bowe saw it that was equally gruesome behaviour. He returned to the real world with a fright, his mother had just sped through the school door and was heading straight for him with a look that could turn milk sour. “Stand up Jens and let me tidy you up, we don’t want your principal seeing you in this mess” Jens was shocked at his mothers calm approach, he expected an all guns blazing scream at him till he begged for forgiveness style. “Are you not mad?” Jens meekly enquired. “Oh Jens don’t get me started on how mad I am but you hardly expect me to shout the school down, you will feel my full wrath as soon as we get home but for the moment lets just pray Mr. Bowe shows some mercy and allows you to continue attending school.”
Jens shook with fright he had never considered possible expulsion, two in two years previous should have taught him something but he honestly thought he had turned over a new leaf. Mr. Bowe came out of his office his glasses hanging around the bridge of his nose. “ Come in” His voice rung around the halls as Jens and His mother made their way into the office.
“Expelled!! Mr. Bowe that is totally unnecessary Jens has been immaculately behaved since he joined the school, this is a brief blip, he was provoked” Nadia Howell was raging, her long blonde hair seemed to fly everywhere as she bellowed abuse at Mr. Bowe following his decision to expel Jens. The experienced principal had taken only a few moments to explain the situation and inform Jens of his expulsion sending Jens into the shell shock. Mr. Bowe was short and large, it was clear to most that he was sick of his job and counting down the days until retirement but despite this he was still a dab hand at arguing his side. “ Ms. Howell your son has put another boy in hospital, he could easily have killed him and you expect me to waive school rules and allow him to stay on as a pupil, I will not stand here and debate my decision, I have setup a meeting with the career guidance counsellor and he will see your son at 5 pm in his room tomorrow other than that this is the last time I expect to see Jens on school grounds.” Jens watched as his mother walked through the door like a wounded animal, he also knew like any wounded animal she would be extremely furious and he would be on the end of her wrath. He followed her out hoping he could avoid the upcoming storm.
