    Hi,
I have an acer aspire netbook. I got it a few months ago and mainly use it for the internet and college work. I didn't realise I was using a microsoft office trial and now the trial has run out :( Just wondering if anyone knows a way I can get around paying the $299 the microsoft website asks for? I'm a total idiot when it comes to technology etc.!
    Thanks.

You can't discuss how to get illegal software on this site. You can download open office, which will do everything you want and it's free.

http://www.software4students.ie/Microsoft_Office_Standard_2007-details.aspx €70 for the standard edition.

There's a student edition even cheaper but it doesn't seem to be in stock at the moment on the website.
