New to ps3 (playing xbox all along). I started playing uncharted online and was just wondering why my signal bar is brown and everyone elses is green. Does this suggest there is a problem?

If by brown you mean red then it's ok. Your not experiencing lag or anything ingame no?

Try checking the Network Settings on the PS3 dashboard thingy (should be in the list second from the left). Do a connection test and see what your NAT is like, its a nightmare trying to get anything other than NAT3 on PS3.
