Though WIKI suggests that i should name this a Duty to Rescue of wreckless drivers.

If a car passed you and was speeding (wreckless driving in your opinion) and they have an accident further ahead on the road would you stop to give them help ?

I dont know what i would do. One should stop for them.

    It's a trick question isn't it?

If someone is engaged in Wreckless driving, they won't be having accidents! :D

If their name was Eric - no. :D

Seriously though, as long as I could stop safely, I would, provided the occupants didn't look like a gang of joyriders looking for their next set of wheels.....

Sorry about that, but that misspelling is rampant in here, and this looked like a good opportunity to bring it up.

Anyway, to the point of the thread:
I've never been in that particular situation, but I would of course render assistance at a crash scene, especially if I was the first to come across it, no matter what the behaviour of the crashed driver beforehand.

Depending on the recklessness (:D) of their behaviour earlier, if I came across such a crash scene and the Gardai were already in attendance, I might stop to make a statement. Definitely so if there was more than one vehicle involved.

I would be very cross with them, but I suppose the humanity would kick in, and I'd stop.

Most people would too, to be honest if the crash looked bad.

    Of course I'd stop.

I most likely would myself too - just if you are tipping away down the road at 60kph in a 4 wheel drive jeep and some little micra shoots by you at 100kph after you moved off the outer lane cos it was too bad to drive on.

If they "drove it like they stole it" I would think twice.

You know in France and most safety concious ADVANCED countries it is the LAW to stop for any vehicle in distress.
