Boots Gift sets

I was in the new boots in cork yesterday and they have all their Christmas gift sets and kids clothes reduced to half price, they seem to have a lot of stock left over, but no Soap and Glory. this is the boots in half moon street by the art gallery.

pretty soon all remaining stock will be 75% off if anyone sees that please comment here i want to rape them then

Word on HUKD is that its starting on the 13th Jan which is wednesday, I'd imagine it will be the same date here. Plenty of stock left in Mahon and can't see it all shifting before then.

I never knew they reduce to 75% Most of the good sets are gone already though. I have 7 Boots Xmas sets, 4 of which are various Soap + Glory ones. Mostly still in the boxes too. I'll mostly be avoiding buying cosmetics for the rest of the year!

Looking forward to the 75% reduction also!! Didnt think it was that far into January though that they reduced by 75%. Thought they should be doing it anytime now!! Bring it on!! 50% just isnt good enough when we know 75% is coming....

Actually I got loads of really great deals last year on the 75% sale last year

Was in Boots in Mullingar yesterday and they had feck all left in decent gift sets.:rolleyes: Last year they had much more. I spent nearly €70 and got loads.

Anyone have any idea if they'll put more stuff out on the shelves before the 75% sale?

It is brilliant. In some cases, Your getting entire sets for less than the cost of one of the individual products.
I stocked up on smellies for the year last time. Which was the 14th of January....(I checked)

You guys are lucky, I was there at 9AM last year in Liffey Valley and the staff cleared the place of everything except chocolate coins and foul smelling stuff

It was so annoying at 8:50 when they were all coming out with baskets of stuff, I could see them filling their car boots! I guess it's one of the perks of working there...

Just been looking at martin lewis's website moneysavingexpert, it seems that the sale has been cancelled to the 20th due to weather

How does weather affect it? Boots isn't closed due to the weather, some staff probably can't make it in but it's still open. They don't get extra stock in for it do they?

This is whats happening in the UK weather bad over there , i know i watched the same forum last year and they were bang on with dates etc and got some great deals last year. Ive been looking at the site again and it seems alot of the people posting are saying its cancelled. does anyone know what the story is here!

Was in Boots Grafton St this evening and can confirm that they're still at 50% off. They have a not-too-small selection of stuff, mainly for the girls though...

Bought what I was looking for 'cos no doubt I'd never find it again if I wait longer!
