corolla rear wiper

    why does my corolla 2001 saloon short boot not have a rear wiper? there is no fixings or any other apparent places to have a wiper blade???? please can someone explain this to me???:confused:

    Saloons just don't for the most part. Unless you mean by short boot the lift back then somethings up. Most saloon rear windows allow water to run off freely enough. Only saloon I can think of off hand that had one was some of the older Primeras

    whats a short boot saloon? Do you mean liftback? Can you fold down the rear seats to access the boot? And is the rear glass part of the boot lid? If yes to both those then you have a liftback. If you have no rear wiper then someone has filled the hole for the wiper probably

    thanks to your answer i now know its not a 'liftback'. thanks for that...
    i just sold my astra which was a 'liftback'...
    thanks again, you and EPM have saved me a lot of embarrassment... :)
