Don't be expecting a positive reply, I hear they don't have the internet yet.

I'd hope do they, sure don't they have the old dial up in Offaly now? Always been at the cutting edge of technology though!

Post needs a more popular culture feel to it for AH I reckon. I would have phrased it "Does anyone here wear an 'I Shot J.R.' T-Shirt by any chance?"

Ah they're still on the first steps of any civilization. Food and shelter. Expect internet in maybe 1000 years.

Go forth, be brave, and give false names and numbers! ;)

Your men will face no resistance. It's the very reason it's never been invaded, it would never be worth the effort.

Don't know about the Aran Islands but Clare Island has broadband now. It has better internet than most of the mainland areas near.

Actually, they have WiMAX on the Aran Islands. So by Irish terms, they're actually ahead of us! (LOS WiMAX used to communicate with the mainland, not sure how it's spread among the island)

The only difficulty you'd have is trying to get onto the island, you'd be sliding down it.

Aranmore and Aran Island(s) are different islands in different parts of the country.

And a mobile single? Why, was your phone always engaged when you were on Aranmore? :pac:

Exactly and I could use a few savages from the Midlands with their massive potato shovelling hands, ability to cross all kinds of terrain and a distinct lack of morality!

To the coast men (and women if they want to join)!
