Right so that explains all the pms I have been getting.
Access to the Sex & Sexuality Forum is given to SMods, CMods, Mods and Subscribers

As for a public discussion on asexuality I suggest the humanities forum.
If it is a personal issue then there is personal issues forum.

The sex and sexuality forum is for explicit discussion which due to their content are not public and not google search able and that does not mean porn.

    http://wiki.boards.ie/wiki/Board:Sex_/_Sexuality

Myself wibbs and tSubh Dearg are the mods, nesf, Scofflaw are the cat mods.

Then perhaps there is a need for a sexuality forum?

There are more people out there who self ID as asexual then you may think.
With societies seeming obsession with sex be it hetro or homo it can be a way of being most people never consider.

Yes there are people who are blocked sexually and there are those who choose ever to work through that, but I also believe that there are people both male, female and intersex who regardless of what gender they id as who are asexual and are happy living their lives that way.

It can be beyond the comprehension of most people but there are asexual support groups out there and community but it may take some searching to find them. Good luck in finding a way to live your life that works best for you.

I don't have a problem with choosing to be asexual (why should I), and sexual choice is very personal and there are no wrongs or rights between consenting adults.

But asexuality really is just the most sad and depressing term, it just sounds completely awful doesnt it, or am I just looking at it from that supposedly skewed male perspective perhaps? I really don't know what I would do with myself if I didn't ever want to have sex. It really seems to influence or dictate so much we do as human beings.

Sexual choice? Are you trying to say sexuality is just something you choose?

I don't see any reason why asexuality has to be sad or depressing. If someone has no desire to have sex, then why would they have it? There's plenty of other stuff to do in the world.
