What are roads like from Freshford to Abbeyleix

    Just wondering if anyone knows what road conditions from Freshford to Abbeyleix are like, meant to be going collecting a dog a couple of miles the Portlaoise side of Abbeyleix tomorrow, debating should I put it off until next week or if roads are not too bad i'l head tomorrow, any help appreciated thanks.

    Road to Johnstown from Freshford should be okay - I think they're gritted. Johnstown to Cullohill is lethal. From there on its fine through Durrow into Abbeyleix.

    From Ballyragget via Durrow to Abbeyleix is fine, though I am unsure about the Freshford to Ballyragget road is good or not.
