JSB and very short-term work

I am in receipt of JSB and have been since before the budget. I have just been switched to casual worker (meaning I must drop a slip in everyweek) as I now work one day a week and receive payment for the other days. So far so good. However I have just been offered very short term (computer based) work in addition to the work I already do from another source, about 60hrs in total if I am gauging it correctly how long it will take me to do it, to be done in just under two weeks but in my own time (as in I don't have to 9-5 it in an office). I will probably get it done in about 10 days I estimate.

My query is what will happen/what should I do. Before christmas I secured a job for two weeks christmas work (which fell through so didnt matter in end) and one worker (I was in the wrong queue in terms of alaphabet but asked anyway) in the SWO told me I would have to sign off completly for it and reapply which I saw as madness for two weeks (its no incentive to work but thats for a different thread I suppose!). Another told me that to just take job and hopefully it would work out in terms of not having to sign off(!). I'll obviously have to go talk to them and explain about this time but just wondering what your take is on it. I will also not be submitting the hours it takes to do this project to my employer for three or weeks as its paid out of some national fund. What to do and when to submit? Thanks:o

Talk to them. They are happy for people to work. While they will likely stop payment, I don't think they put you right back at the end of the queue.

If my experience the last time is anything to go by I have the suspicion that they will! Its madness like, they'd save a fortune if their system was set up to allow people to do what I want to do easily. Argh I've got myself going now lol:o
