Heating controls upgrade

    Hey

Just wondering if anyone can give a ballpark figure for the heating controls upgrade that qualifies for the SEI grant. Gas Potterton Boiler with 12 rads in the house. No thermostat, etc.. in place presently - just std off -> max dial on the boiler & bog std radiator valves. Hot water cylinder is directly over boiler with easy access between the two should any additional plumbing be needed.

As I understand it the work is essentially just replacing the radiator valves and installing a 7 day programmable control panel for the boiler ?

As I said - just looking for ballpark figure

I got the full job done back in the Summer last - new condensing boiler, zoned auto valves in hot press, radiator stat valves, stats on ground floor and first floor, timer/control panel etc etc and it cost €2300. Not sure if thats helpful or not considering you arent going for the boiler upgrade.

Cheers muffler but not looking to get boiler done atm. Just had it repaired & serviced so hoping to get another few years out of it. So just looking for a ballpark for the heating controls. Have talked to a local plumber who's going to get me a price later but just looking for something to compare it against.
