MW2 Glitch/Cheat on FFA today?

Just finished playing FFA there on MW2 and the last few maps I played, it seemed like someone had enabled a cheat or setting for private only matches?

Basically it was like everyone was speed, running around at a ridiculous rate and almost floating at some points! It was fairly funny on Highrise when players kept running off the edge but just wondering has anyone else experienced this as it gets very annoying, very quickly!

Haven't seen it before, but hoping it's not widespread as I'm hoping to get in plenty of gaming when I get home from work in the next hour or two.

Could be another one of those glitches like the one with unlimited ammo and fully automatic grenade launchers. Infinity Ward have patched those ones but it sounds like you've stumbled across another

Played a game like that about a month ago but havent seen one since, altho the other day i played 3 game of ffa and was nuked in all 3. 3 different guys did the nuke but there kills were like 27-19 or that, cant imagine some one just walking around dying 19 times after getting a 25 kill streak!!!!!

Happened to me today it was like everyone was ice skating around the place. The best part was I got a massive kill streak because it was so hard to get me.

Im surprised there has been no word from IW, it must be a rare enough occurrence.

the was one guy the other night and he was whoreing around and only stabbing people from behind, he was defo moving faster.

found myself in a weird mtdm over a week ago,
the guy called "Disconnections" on tenth prestige and his mates one of whom was called "LIVE Staff" were being very odd, every single time they killed you the screen showed connection interrupted, everyone freezing bar them and in one game he killed 72, 1 assist and 6 deaths,
that is crazy like..
i've seen as well he is ranked 52/53rd in the overall leaderboards....crazy

I got this glitch today too, it was mad!

Everyone had about 50x speed, if you sprint you're over the other side of the map in a few seconds!!? I was going around for a while getting slaughtered, I had to camp the match out at the end to even get a positive k/d

the people running fast are more than likely using the care package glitch. basically you need to be a homosexual, have a tactical knife and as soon as you get your 4 kill streak select the care package and run with it instead of using it. holding the care package marker lets you run twice as fast as normal and still be able to knife.

Using a tactical knife with marathon and lightweight will make you run much faster than normal,holding a care package marker makes you run even faster. Its not a glitch its just a bit of a loophole

I didn't know about that perk, is it kind of like lightweight?

no it turns your sprint into more of a mincing walk.

Kads this is the speed glitch,
it has been done with the frictionless glitch, chopper gunner ammo glitch, slow glitch etc.
Basicly for this glitch/infection to to work, the HOST has to have been in a a game with someone else that had it(people who're infected purposely host private games, you can join and just leave, then you're infected)
you go searching for a live ranked game, and just hope that you get picked for host.. if you don't get picked you loose you "infection" so back to the private game to get infected and try searching again.
Also if you're in a game like this, it woulod mean you're also infected too, so if that host leaves whoever is host next game an stays in it will also be the same
you can leave the current game and go play a private game and you will still have the infection
it only goes away if you aren't picked host first time round, or you quit to dash board.

Does the speed glitch also speed up disarming the bomb in demolition? A few time now when Ive been playing, you die watch the kill cam and you see a player kill you, then disarm the bomb quicker then normal :eek:
